Faculty of Law
The basic objective of
Faculty of Law is to produce high and mid level legal manpower to fulfill the
demand in all sectors including the legal profession and academics.

The Faculty of Law offers
three categories of academic programs namely:

LL.(Bachelor of Law)
·
LL.(Master of Law)
·
Ph.D. Doctor of Philosophy
Among these programs, LL.B
is offered in all the six campuses, namely Mahendra Multiple Campus (Dharan),
Mahendra Bindeswori Multiple Campus (Rajbiraj), Nepal Law Campus (Kathmandu),Butwal
Multiple Campus (Butwal), Prithvi Narayan Multiple Campus (Pokhara) and
Mahendra Multiple Campus (Nepalgunj) and LL. is offered only at Kathmandu.The
Ph.D is enrolled at Faculty of Law. The prerequisite for
admission in LL. Bis Bachelor's Degree in any discipline recognized by
The Faculty of Law organizes
the following programs:
Regular interaction programs
for practicing lawyers, legal officers of the government agencies and the law
teachers, and mini research programs for the teachers and students,
The Faculty publishes
bi-annual research journal entitled Nepal Law Review The
Faculty of Law has established Human Rights Centre and Environmental Law Centre
at the Faculty which conduct regular seminars, talk programs and research.
These centers have partnership with the Human Rights
Law Centre of Nottingham University of UK, the Social Policy in Law programs of
the
